Job Description:

As an Accounting Manager , you will manage and supervise all aspects of financial accounting excluding tax-related matters. You will oversee the preparation of financial statements, manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure compliance with accounting principles, and implement accounting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of Edtech’s accounting department.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Review and maintain accounting records, ledgers, and journals.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
• Prepare management reports, budgets, and financial forecasts.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and support.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.
• Review and approve accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA preferred but not required).
• Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
