Accounting Group Leader

Job Description:
Our client, a well-known Japanese IT company, is looking for an Accounting Group Leader.

• Check and finalize monthly financial closing
• Prepare monthly reports for head office
• Prepare annual financial closing
• Respond to accounting audits
• Corporate tax calculation
• Check and submit GST filings
• Respond to survey requests from head office (on key metrics)
• Budget formulation (consolidation)
• Manage budget vs. actual
• Prepare board of directors and shareholder meeting materials (in Japanese)
• Provide valuation support, including the creation of discounted cash flow (DCF) models
• Prepare investment and financing materials for head office
• Review business investments
• Manage team, supervising 3 subordinates

Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years of relevant work experience
• Fluent in Japanese for liaising with Japanese speaking stakeholders in Japan HQ
• Quick processing ability
• Willing to learn something new
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Independent and good teamwork
