Japanese Logistics Company looking to hire a person to take on the role of accounting and taxation (general manager level).

Job Description

1. Financial accounting (monthly, quarterly, standalone and consolidated accounts, audit).
2. Streamlining accounting processes/rules/policies/systems and improving tax management.
3. Taxation (Singapore, shipping, international including transfer pricing, shareholder relations, etc.).
4. Organising accounting and taxation matters for new businesses and M&A, internal consultancy and project support.
5. Management of accounting and taxation team members, guidance and training.
6. Compliance with accounting standards, etc.

Job Requirements

1. Accounting and tax practice experience.
2. At least 7 years management or similar experience.
3. Knowledge of IFRS, ERP.
4. Business level or above English/Japanese language skills (for dealing with external and internal stakeholders and the Japanese parent company).
5. Knowledge of accounting systems (SAP preferred).
6. CPA or similar accounting and tax qualifications are a plus.
7. Knowledge and experience of M&A, CFC taxation, and BEPS, CIT, GST and WHT etc. are welcomed.

Additional Details

Bonus: AWS + performance bonus.
2-3 departmental interviews + 1 HR interview scheduled.
