Accounting Executive

About the role

Lotusia Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Accounting Executive to join our team. As an Accounting Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and ensuring the accuracy of our accounting processes. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our dynamic organisation. You will have a chance to explore China and Hong Kong accounting.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and processing invoices, receipts, and other financial documentation
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable and accounts receivable records
• Reconciling bank statements and petty cash accounts
• Assisting with the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports
• Prepare GST, accounting schedules
• Handling multi-currency payment and accounts
• Liaise with overseas accounting vendor
• Follow-up and coordination of tasks with internal and external stakeholders
• Providing support to the Finance team in various ad-hoc projects and tasks
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar accounting role
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Proficient in the use of accounting software and MS Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Xero
