Accounting Clerk

Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping:

• Perform essential bookkeeping tasks, including managing accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, and conducting bank reconciliations
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate payments to employees
• Prepare financial reports and support budget tracking and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with external accountants for tax preparation and financial audits
• Monitor and track expenses to ensure they align with company budgets, providing insights for cost management
  
  
  

• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed by management, adapting to the evolving needs of a startup environment
• Contribute to improving bookkeeping processes and procedures continuously, suggesting and implementing best practices
• Support the team in streamlining operations and ensuring compliance with local financial regulations
  
  
  

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• At least 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in MS Excel and other accounting software
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
