Accountant, Singapore

We are looking for a motivated and collaborative Accountant to join our finance team. You will play a key part in maintaining and developing comprehensive financial controls that safeguard our business and assets. You will also be the Go-To person for payments receivable related processes and transactions and processing within established frameworks and guidelines.

This exciting opportunity is 100% office based at our Biopolis office.

What you will do:

• Preparing and managing daily accounting and financial matters, including cost control.
• Provide end to end transactional accounting and provide financial information to support all areas of the business.
• Recommend business solutions, process improvement, enhance internal control, and support audits.
• Assist and support ad-hoc projects assigned by Finance Manager, including cover for other roles within the department as required.

What you will bring:

• Minimum diploma or degree in Accountancy.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in transaction processing area.
• Prior working experience in firms and experience in MNC environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft software such as Excel, PowerPoint, ERP system, Cognos and Power BI.
