We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant for an opportunity with a dynamic company. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing consolidations, and supporting budgeting and compliance efforts. Key Responsibilities:
Ensure accurate and timely accounting of company activities (eg. Month-end close and GL), and liaising with the necessary counterparties for compliance of the accounts.
Intercompany reconciliations
Preparation of reports as and when required
Monthly consolidation of accounts
Support budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, ad-hoc reporting and other tasks as assigned.
Assist in reviewing other related parties’ audited financial reports, tax compliance and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent (eg. ACCA)
CA qualification is a plus
Minimum 4 years working experience (hands-on) in statutory reporting with minimum 1 year of full set of accounts and consolidation experience
Prior audit experience is a plus, but not essential.
Sound working knowledge of accounting and tax issues
Ability to analyse financial figures and troubleshoot issues independently
Attention to details and follow-through in a timely manner
Passion to join the esports, gaming and blockchain industries
Positive work attitude, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills with colleagues from all levels/departments/countries.
Resourceful, proactive and self-driven with good self-initiative
Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and effectively organize work in a changing environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel is a must.
Experience in Quickbook is a plus, but not essential
