Accountant / Cost Accountant [ Project based costing is a MUST / Bedok ]

5 days, 8.30am - 5.50pm

Salary: $4300 - $4500 +/-

Location: Bedok, Singapore 469332

Reports to Finance Director

Job Scope:

• Prepare monthly cash position and cash flow forecast for submission to holding company;
• Prepare and post journal entries for payroll expenses;
• Issue ad-hoc cheques for new joiner and resignee salary payment;
• Handle costing and revenue recognition. Candidate needs to have good understanding of project-based costing and be able to review the costing prepared by Project Manager;
• Work with local Finance team to finalize monthly financial closing;
• Review monthly reporting package submitted by subsidiaries and liaise with in-charge person on reconciliations where necessary;
• Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and quarterly reporting package;
• Handle corporate tax and GST reporting and filing;
• Liaise with auditor and prepare year-end financial statements;
• Liaise with subsidiaries and secretaries/agents on corporate matters;
• Ad-hoc duties where required.

Requirements:

• At least a Professional Certificate/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Experience in project-based costing.
