Accountant (1-year contract)

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Controllership team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in Singapore. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

1. Prepare and process insurer payments, addressing inquiries related to premium receipts.

2. Follow up on complex funds and reconcile commissions from insurers.

3. Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.

4. Assist in the coordination and execution of the annual audit process, including liaising with external auditors.

5. Liaise with external tax agents to provide necessary documentation and information for tax preparation and filing.

6. Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

What you need to have:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2. Proficiency in financial reconciliation processes and techniques.

3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

4. Willingness to learn, possess a positive attitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

5. Effective communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
