Accountant
Job description
This role supports the Malaysia Business Unit Accounts Payable function and the Singapore Business Unit Accounts Receivable function.
Responsibilities
Malaysia Business Unit
- Check AP invoices, travelling & expenses employee claim before process payment
- Process payment for AP invoices, travelling & expenses employee claim
- Monthly accrual for employee claims / freight costs
- Prepare journal for unpaid PB and Revenue Deferment
- Quarterly OSMI provision
Singapore Business Unit
- Cash/Netting application
- Credit note creation for Misdirected payment
- Monthly Bad Debt provision
- Quarterly OSMI provision.
Basic Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualifications
- 4 – 5 years of relevant experience and some supervisory experience
- Big 4 audit experience is an advantage.
