Job Description:
General Ledger Function
Monitor and check completeness and reasonableness of expenses recorded in the I&E
Review general journal entries for expenses, accruals, allocations and adjustments.
Monthly update of currency exchange rates in Finance ERP system
Responsible to drive and execute the Month End Closing process
Prepare GL related schedules and reconciliations.
Review bank reconciliations and ensure follow-up actions for closure.
Management Reporting
Prepare monthly management reports
Prepare monthly audit schedules and management reports
Responsible in tracking and analysis of deviations of actual vs budget for revenue and expenses
Perform other financial analysis as necessary to support management report
Budgeting
Responsible in preparing the budget templates
Assist in the budgeting process
Assist in developing financial models and maintenance for budgeting
Audit, GST and Withholding Tax
Prepare quarterly GST returns
Prepare Withholding Tax
Assist in audit process and liaise with external auditor.
Prepare yearly audit report package.
Others
Participate in reviewing of financial system when required.
Prepare and submission of survey and statistics requested from various government bodies.
Responsible for the ERP administration, assist in implementation and upgrading of system
Take part in Financial Operations Manual review and update
Assist in ad-hoc projects and other tasks as assigned by Chief Financial Officer
Requirements:
Degree in Accounting / Finance / ACCA or equivalent professional qualification with 5-7 years of experience.
Possess integrity and ability to exercise discretion in confidential matters.
Meticulous, proactive, independent and able to work under pressure.
Good interpersonal and analytical skills.
Competency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
Working experience in ERP systems, Dynamic BC365 preferred
