Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable

• Verify expense suppliers' invoice by performing 3-way matching and follow up to resolve any discrepancies or AP related matter consistently

• Monitor payment plans and process payments promptly

• Check, verify and process marketing claims

• Check and verify monthly payments to factories and freight invoices

• Check and verify bills in system for stocks and samples charges

• Check and verify entries in system for all freight invoices

• Updating Item Receipts with freight invoice number

• Monthly reconciliation of accrued freight handling

• Monthly reconciliation of accrued sourcing commission

• Ensure purchases are recorded and payments processed timely

Accounts Receivables

• Check and verify retail bank reconciliation for retail and e-commerce stores and ensuring entries created in system are correct, tallying company vouchers, which includes liaising with retail store personnel

• Approve sales orders / upload sales price

GL

• Perform GL entries and ensure all relevant adjustments are put through

• Maintain audit schedules and ensure all reconciling items are adjusted

Others

• Fixed Asset system maintenance

• Preparation of LC issuance and submission

• Intercompany balance confirmation

• Tax and audit related matters

• Involve in process improvement initiatives

• Ensure accounts are closed timely, accurately and in compliance with accounting standards and group reporting requirement

• Support Finance Manager on operational and technical matters

• Work closely with management and operations teams to resolve operational / workflow issues

• Any other ad-hoc matters as assigned

What we are looking for

• Degree/Diploma in Accountancy/Business studies and equivalent

• Min 5 years relevant working experience in MNC or high-volume environment

• Proficient in MS Office and mid to large scale ERP systems

• With implementation experience in ERP system

• Knowledge of SAP Basis would be advantageous

• Mature, organised, meticulous, highly initiative with a positive and keen attitude to learn

• A team player with min supervision and the ability to multi-task under a lean workforce
