Accountant

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Reports directly to CFO
2. Head and manage the team of finance/accounting staff in the Account Department
3. Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team to support all business requirements and ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly management, accounting, and other reports including annual statutory reporting and compliance
4. Hands-on experience in Accounting entries – AR/AP/GL
5. Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing on a monthly basis
6. Oversee the assessment and management of financial, accounting, taxation, cost, and budgetary control
7. Fund flow and working capital management
8. Review Account Payable, Account Receivable, fixed Assets, GST, GL
9. Review and manage audit schedules and queries from external auditor and tax agent
10. Coordinate with external parties such as external and internal auditors, tax agent, lawyer, bankers, company secretary, and other government authorities, and act as a key member of the management team for strategic financial advisory and day-to-day decision making
11. Handle all financial records and consolidate all expenses
12. Resolve accounting discrepancies and variances and keep accurate and updated accounting records
13. Involve in yearly inventory/stock take – ensure ERP record tally with physical stock take for all raw materials
14. Supervise stock inventory, aging, and stock control
15. Review and implement internal control standards and systems
16. Consolidation of accounts for the company with its subsidiaries
17. Tax computation, ECI, corporate tax, GST, XBRL - prepare and submission
18. Company ongoing IPO listing in Taiwan
19. Support directors on listing obligations, compliance, and corporate governance matters
20. Review corporate actions carried out and provide leadership and direction to ensure high standards of accounting, cost control, and credit control and management
