Accountant

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for accounting processes in AP, T&E, Inventory, FA, and GL.
2. Make postings for Invoice, Credit Note, and Debit Note
   • Matching of Purchase Orders to invoices to ensure correct description, quantity, and prices prior to IR.
   • Check with Suppliers and Supply Chain for any discrepancy in pricing/SOA.
3. Posting of landed cost and inventory adjustment due to breakage.
4. Reconcile Supplier’s accounts balance and Intercompany BSPL.
5. Payment processing with proper controls such as preparation of Payment List, Supplier Reconciliation, Payment Voucher, and update into SAP system.
6. Support Marketing Team with A&P accruals to ensure accuracy and timely recording.
7. SAP Maintenance of vendor master and Fixed Assets.
8. Responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities.
9. Prepare and reconcile Balance sheet schedules.
10. Support IFRS 16 for remeasurement of lease.
11. Responsible for internal audit and external audit by CPA firms.
12. Support and prepare documents for tax filing and requirements.
13. Ad hoc projects, including ERP launch and process improvement.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or CPA.
2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, vendor management, and financial reporting.
4. Good understanding of local GAAP/IFRS and internal control.
5. High integrity and can-do attitude.
6. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP R/3, HANA, AX 2012, D365) and Microsoft Excel.
7. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors (English and Chinese).
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
10. Big 4 accounting firm and MNC experience is a plus.
11. ERP migration experience is a plus.
