Accountant

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the financial and accounting functions of the assigned business entities
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements on a timely and regular basis and ensuring that relevant data and transactions are updated in the systems
• Reconciliation of bank statements, prepare and process accounting and financial transactions
• Liaise with financial institutions, auditors, other relevant stakeholders and service providers
• Support and ensure compliance with all regulatory, finance and tax filing requirements
• Duties assigned as deemed appropriate for an Accountant

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA qualified
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Big 4 audit firm is preferred, and additional 1-2 years of corporate accounting experience
• Good working knowledge of IFRS
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently, as well as in a team, and under a fast pace environment
• Strong logic and analytical thinking, meticulous and flexible
• Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (in order to handle queries and requests from English and Chinese speaking associates). Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia will be an added advantage (to liaise with Indonesia counterparts)
