Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Accountant with solid experience in the healthcare equipment or related wholesale industries. The ideal candidate will handle full-spectrum accounting duties, contribute to internal financial reporting, and support compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts, including AP/AR, GL, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Assist with audit, tax filing, and statutory reporting
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (e.g., auditors, tax agents)
• Provide timely financial insights to support business operations
• Support budget preparation and variance analysis

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 5+ years in the healthcare or wholesale sector
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Membership in LCCI or equivalent accounting body is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English. Ability to speak Mandarin or Malay will be an advantage to liaise with Chinese/Malay-speaking stakeholders.
