The Job

Sales Strategy

  • Develop and implement a sales growth plan for assigned accounts, while exploring opportunities to expand into new customer segments.
  • Conduct market analysis and set targeted goals to identify potential customers.
  • Provide regular sales updates and forecasts, emphasizing performance, challenges, opportunities, and key activities with accounts to management.
  • Collaborate closely with the business development and marketing teams to share industry insights, competitor analysis, and territorial knowledge.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitor products, and market developments to uncover new business opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Possess deep knowledge of industrial automation, particularly in manufacturing, intralogistics, and the warehouse domain.

Account Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs and delivering customized AGV solutions.
  • Identify key stakeholders and establish strong connections with critical decision-makers.
  • Plan and execute engagement activities to align with customers' long-term investment strategies.
  • Conduct product, solution, and architecture presentations to customers to increase in-house share (IHS).
  • Foster strong, ongoing relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Demonstrate strategic thinking in navigating complex organizational structures to achieve desired results.

Deal Closure & Customer Satisfaction

  • Qualify leads and convert them into opportunities, ensuring a healthy sales pipeline to meet targets.
  • Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to develop and present technical proposals.
  • Lead business proposal presentations and support the technical team in the development of technical proposals.
  • Take the lead in negotiating with customers and closing deals.
  • Work closely with the after-sales team to ensure high customer satisfaction and maintain exceptional service levels.

The Talent

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics).
  • Proven experience in account management within the warehouse automation industry (experience with industrial automation is acceptable, even if not specifically in automated guided vehicles).
  • Good understanding of industrial automation, particularly in manufacturing, intralogistics, and warehouse domains, including knowledge of warehouse operations, warehouse control systems, and autonomous machinery.
  • Strong technical presentation and communication skills, with the ability to simplify and articulate complex concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
