APS & MES/MOM Project Sales / Smart Factory

Discrete Manufacturing & Process Manufacturing Industries,

Singapore domestic market focus,

Hybrid work model: Work-From-Home (WFH) & In-office

This is a newly created additional position

Your Challenges & Opportunities:

  • Reporting to the Chief Sales Officer of MPDV Asia Pte Ltd & Director Asia – MPDV Group. Close collaboration for target setting, progress monitoring towards target fulfilment.
  • Direct end user sales in Singapore, follow-up activity within the well maintained and structured lead pipeline (“sales hunter role”) along the entire pre-sales cycle.
  • Sustaining initial calling & follow-up calling with known leads & prospects, in direct sales mode.
  • Appropriate housekeeping in CRM, for past activity tracking and future activity planning.
  • Acting as techno-commercial expert & performing presentations about MPDV’s Smart Factory solutions portfolio to target prospects:
    • Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) System FEDRA
    • Manufacturing Execution System (MES) / Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) System HYDRA X
  • Prioritising account-based marketing (ABM) with targeted campaigns for the entire buyer journey, conducting seminars & workshops, customer days, best-practice events, exhibitions, in close collaboration with the Director Asia and the Chief Sales Officer.
  • Advising the buying teams & deciders of manufacturing companies (Production Managers or Directors, Quality Managers or Directors, IT Directors, Managing Directors, General Managers, C-Level Deciders).
  • Managing all customer expectations on commercial and technical pre-sales stage until deal closure.
  • Frequent engagement in remote sessions (MS Teams).
  • Frequent domestic travel for on-site visits, as needed, in Singapore.
  • Closely collaborating with the MPDV sales teams & MPDV technical resources teams in Asia.

Your Personality:

  • You are acting highly independent, with high self-organizational talent, strict time management & discipline.
  • You are a team player, but you can always act alone and rely on your own.
  • You are a “movie director” that is able to coordinate the internal and external stakeholders to achieve results.
  • You are excellent at top-down communication skill with a strong network of key-persons & decision-makers.
  • You believe in value-selling and you are able to sharply identify the pain points of prospects.
  • You are an excellent proposal-maker & -presenter, enabling the decision makers to understand.

Your Qualifications:

  • You hold a Bachelor degree or higher, in IT-related and/or Production-related disciplines.
  • You have a good understanding of the manufacturing space and the general IT space.
  • IT project experience in process / pharmaceutical / life sciences industries would be an added advantage.
  • You know how to “make complex things simple.”
  • You have past exposure to sales and/or projects in APS, MES/MOM or ERP or SCADA systems.
  • Minimum 3-5 years working experience in a similar sales role in general.

The successful candidate will get the chance to grow and develop within the expanding sales ecosystem of MPDV Asia Pte Ltd presence in Singapore, and optionally in Southeast Asia (if interested).
