Job Summary

The Account Development Manager at Kyzen Interiors is responsible for driving the growth and expansion of the company's interior design sales in both residential and commercial sectors. This role involves identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development within the interior design industry, with a proven ability to close deals and build strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Growth

  • Client Acquisition
    • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in residential and commercial interior design projects through various channels, including but not limited to networking, referrals, cold-calling, and online platforms.
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to target potential clients, such as homeowners, real estate developers, property managers, and business owners.
    • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, ensuring a continuous flow of prospective projects.
  • Sales Presentations and Proposals
    • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and detailed project proposals to potential clients.
    • Customize proposals to meet the unique requirements and budgets of clients, showcasing Kyzen Interiors' design capabilities, past successes, and value proposition.
    • Collaborate with the design team to develop accurate cost estimates and project timelines.
  • Deal Closure
    • Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring all terms and conditions are mutually beneficial and in line with company policies.
    • Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by converting leads into paying clients.

Market Research and Strategy

  • Industry Insights
    • Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on the latest trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities in both residential and commercial interior design.
    • Analyze market data to identify emerging opportunities, potential niches, and areas for growth.
  • Strategy Formulation
    • Develop and refine business development strategies based on market research findings, focusing on increasing market share in both residential and commercial sectors.
    • Collaborate with senior management to align sales and marketing strategies with overall business objectives.

Client Relationship Management

  • Client Engagement
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from initial contact through project completion.
    • Build long-term relationships with clients by understanding their needs, addressing concerns promptly, and providing excellent customer service.
    • Regularly communicate with clients to provide project updates and ensure satisfaction throughout the design and installation process.
  • Upselling and Cross-selling
    • Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or products, such as premium finishes, custom furniture, or extended warranties, to existing clients.
    • Collaborate with the design and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of additional services, enhancing the overall client experience.

Partnerships and Collaborations

  • Partner Identification
    • Identify potential partners, including furniture suppliers, contractors, architects, and other industry professionals, that can enhance Kyzen Interiors' service offerings.
    • Evaluate the potential benefits and synergies of partnering with other businesses to expand the company's reach and capabilities.
  • Partnership Management
    • Negotiate and establish strategic partnerships and collaborations.
    • Manage ongoing partnerships, ensuring mutual benefits and effective communication between partners and the company.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Sales Metrics Tracking
    • Track and report on key sales and business development metrics, including lead conversion rates, sales pipeline growth, deal closure rates, and revenue generated.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
  • Performance Analysis
    • Analyze sales data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
    • Use data-driven insights to adjust sales and business development strategies for optimal performance.

Qualifications and Skills

Education and Experience

  • No minimum of years of experience required, if you are willing to learn business development and sales within the interior design industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
