Account Executive (AR)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Generate and send accurate and timely invoices.
2. Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
3. Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables’ data.
4. Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
5. Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status.
6. Update account status records and collection efforts.
7. Coordinate with parties (Operations/ Sales/ E-commerce) to resolve payment issues and discrepancies.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to address billing issues and improve collection processes.
9. Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries.
10. Reconcile discrepancies between accounting records and customer payments.
11. Generate regular reports on accounts receivable aging and cash collections.
12. Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
13. Assist in audits related to accounts receivable activities.

Job Requirements:

1. Min. CAT or Diploma in Accountancy.
2. Min. 2 years of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably with Retail industry or FMCG background.
3. Independent with minimal supervision.
4. Able to work under high volume with a positive working attitude.
5. Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills.
6. Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
