Account Executive

Location: Tuas Area

Working Days: 5 days per week

Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Salary: Up to $3,500 – $4,000 per month (subject to qualification and experience)

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow).
• Ensure the accuracy of financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Prepare and submit GST returns monthly, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Oversee payables and receivables to ensure timely processing and optimization.
• Provide financial insights for decision-making purposes.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
• Check general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments.
• Handle HR tasks such as payroll processing, employee records management, and assist with recruitment and onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies on employee benefits and compensation.
• Oversee the application and renewal of all company licenses and certifications, ensuring legal compliance.
• Track the expiry dates of business licenses and ensure timely renewals to avoid disruptions.

Job Requirements:

• Open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only.
• Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a similar position.
• Strong understanding of GST (Second-hand Trade), Financial Reporting Standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to changes in workflow.
