IN BRIEF

The Account Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of client projects, managing day-to-day activities for the client account and supporting the Account Manager / Director in meeting client needs.

The Account Executive will handle client requests, prepare client reports and manage client communications. The Account Executive should foster respect from subordinates, peers, management and clients alike through solid support of tasks when required e.g. administrative, creative and budgetary support on all project elements.

To be successful in this role, you should come from a client facing role, either in Accounts or Production, with a strong understanding of experiential marketing, social & a high touch understanding of what is important to a brand. You must have strong organisational and project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once ensuring deadlines are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Relationship Management

Client

  • Good client relationship management skills through clear, consistent and concise written and verbal communication
  • Possess a sound knowledge of the client contract and account details
  • Act as gatekeeper of information on the account: brand books, products, client organisational structure

Suppliers

  • Management of suppliers across all categories and disciplines to foster trust, goodwill and outstanding levels of quality and delivery

Internal

  • Effective support of senior team members to deliver best practice
  • Contribute to positive and collaborative inter-departmental relationships with other agency departments through planning and communication

Communication

  • Contribute to high quality project documentation and administration and ensure the timely dissemination to all relevant stakeholders
  • Take part in regular WIP meetings with internal and external teams and clients to enable effective project planning

Creative Development & Championship

  • Input into the creative development of project proposals with other teams within the agency and any external 3rd party suppliers as required

Process

  • Ensure compliance of internal DARKHORSE processes with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support to the communications team in the form of WIP Reports, Timelines, Purchase Orders, invoices and budget administration

Financial Accountability

  • Contribute to budget scoping to ensure all project requirements are accurately scoped with the appropriate level of detail and standard profit margins are maintained

About You

  • 2-4 years + in an client facing Account Servicing / Production role within an agency environment
  • A willingness to contribute to group discussion and problem solving, creative development, process improvement and maintaining a healthy, peaceful and harmonious professional culture and environment
  • An understanding of experiential marketing and how to successfully pitch to clients
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to build positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
