We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Assistant to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and financial record maintenance, contributing to the overall efficiency of the finance team.
Job Description:
Perform general accounting duties to support the finance team.
Prepare payments, monitor prepayments, and conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
Create journal entries related to Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping and aiding in the month-end closing process.
Prepare Goods and Services Tax (GST) submissions.
Undertake any additional ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
Communicate effectively with team members and vendors regarding any accounting-related inquiries.
