About the role

King Grouper Fish Soup Pte Ltd, a leading provider of high-quality fish soup, is seeking a dedicated Account Assistant to join our dynamic finance team. In this full-time position based in Bendemeer, Central Region, you will play a crucial role in supporting the overall accounting operations of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments and reconciliations
• Perform data entry, document filing and general administrative tasks to maintain accurate financial records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient resolution of financial queries
• Provide support in the preparation of financial reports, statements and other accounting-related documents
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and controls

What we're looking for

• Relevant diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• 2-3 years' experience in an accounts assistant or similar role, preferably in the F&B industry
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records
• Proficient in using accounting software, spreadsheets and other relevant software applications
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
