Job description
Role: Senior Maintenance Manager
Industry: Chemical Plant
Working Hours: 5 days (Mon-Fri), 8 am to 4.30 pm.
Work Location: Jurong Island (Transport Provided at Jurong East)
Basic Salary Up to $9000 + 15 AL + AWS + VB
Requirements:
Degree in related discipline.
Experience in the chemical plant / chemical industry Singapore as Manager or Assistant Manager.
Experience and knowledge about maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment and static facilities.
Experience as Electrical and Instrumentation, E&I Process / Maintenance Engineer at chemical plant or manufacturing facility.
Knowledge about and familiarity with high voltage power supply / MCC, control panel and / or DCS design and system to manage establishment will be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
Management of annual/specific Project and Maintenance activities/budgets (both Mechanical and E&I) throughout the fiscal year to achieve department goals.
Ensuring that the relevant maintenance strategies as well as industry best practices are applied to the activities for maintenance and modifications in the plant to achieve reliability and availability of plant equipment of the highest level.
Ensures all plant and equipment are maintained to the highest level of safety for work to avoid lost time accidents, with immediate response and thorough investigations and corrective actions for all hazardous occurrences and accidents.
Ensure all Mechanical and E&I maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s HSEQ Standards, statutory requirements, Company Maintenance & Management System, and best industry maintenance practices.
Ensuring that there are adequate procedures and systems put in place for maintenance activities conducted within the process plant.
Oversee all facilities planning and operations/functions including the maintenance, modification control of equipment, space allocation, move and construction.
Work with counterparts in parent and subsidiary companies on technology transfers to raise maintenance performance standards.
Line management responsibility for Maintenance team members.
Approval of all work requests for equipment maintenance and modifications related to improvements and safety of process and plant.
Approval of requisition for new equipment and maintenance spares.
Approval of Contractors’ daily timesheets.
Approval of the daily maintenance activities and modifications in the plant.
Approval of grade change maintenance activities, in consultation with the production department.
Planning and managing the shutdown maintenance.
Provide training needs of Maintenance team members to ensure that they have the necessary skills and competencies to carry out their work efficiently.
Assessment and review of in-house contractors’ performance and the contract.
Undertake special assignments or projects as directed by the Manufacturing Director.
