We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Operation Senior Specialist, Corporate Actions Team - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Securities & Derivatives Analyst 2 – C10) based in Singapore. In this role, you’re expected to:
- Provide back office functions support for Investment products for Corporate Action events (such as Proxy meetings/Stock splits and mergers) and dividend payments.
- Participate and contribute to the projects and process enhancements initiatives handled by the team with specific project/learning outcomes.
- Timely handling of transactions, meeting and exceeding the Service expectation with internal clients.
- Review/Propose/Initiate process automation or system/process projects.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Adhering to applicable Policies, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices.
- Escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:
- Having 2-4 years of work experience in operations processing Wealth/Investment products.
- Knowledge and experience of Trade settlements, Corporate actions for Equities and Equity Options.
- Responsible, organized and able to multitask under pressure.
- Good team player.
- Expert level proficiency in Windows, MS Project, and MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage to tight deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous eye for details, ability to execute tasks with accuracy, good problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
- Exposure to Consumer banking.
- Gain an in-depth knowledge of the securities products offered (Equities and Bonds).
- Appreciate in-depth process flow of the back-end Operations function.
