We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as AVP, Agency Lending - Hybrid (Internal Job Title: Securities & Derivatives Sr Analyst - C12) based in Singapore. In this role, you’re expected to:

The Sec & Derivatives Sr Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for processing orders and transactions originating from trading desks and branch offices in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to facilitate the clearance, settlement and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions.


Responsibilities:
  • This role will provide support to a variety of tasks related to the system maintenance and reconciliation.
  • Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders to address trade-related inquiries and requests.
  • Creation and updating of operational procedures and process maps for the team.
  • Support Audit preparation as well as process reviews and other controls, internal and external; representing the team and participating in meetings with Auditors/Controllers.
  • Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
  • Responsible for escalating control gaps and issues to senior management. Identifies process related control deficiencies and implements appropriate procedures and solutions to mitigate any risk or control losses.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to junior staff.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure:

  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
