169 ICT Trainer

Job Scope:

The Services required are set out as follows:

1. Conduct ICT Courses for Students (Pri 1 to Pri 6) in:
2. New Media Literacies (e.g Curate, Connect and Create)
3. Touch Typing (School-owned software)
4. Internet Security, Subject/Content research and copyrights issues
5. School’s Learning Management System – Student Learning Space (SLS)
6. Basic Photo Editing and video creation

Additional Tools:

• G Suite Education Apps
• Google Docs/Sheet/Sites/Slides
• Google Classroom
• Google Site

Further Responsibilities:

1. ICT Baseline Assessment
2. Web-based Collaboration tools (e.g. Padlet, Kahoot, Moo-o, Mentimeter)
3. Coding and Programming (e.g. Scratch/Scratch Junior/Scratch Up/Microbit)
4. Any other ICT related tasks and administrative duties given by School Leaders or HOD.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Preferably 3 years’ experience training primary school students in ICT software and skills.
2. Preferably a Diploma or equivalent in an ICT related field.
3. Proficient in Google Suite for Education (e.g. Google Docs/Sheet/Sites/Slides and Classroom).
4. Proficient in Coding applications (e.g. Scratch/Scratch Junior/Scratch Up/Microbit).
5. Proficient in video creation skills (using video animation software like iMovies).
6. Proficient in animation creation skills (using animation software like Powtoons).
