$4200/Mth | Research Assistant/ Research and Analytics Division (RA)

Job Duties:

• The Research and Analytics Division (RA) drives research and analytics efforts to strengthen the nexus between policy, practice, operations, research and analytics to support outcomes, policies and programmes. It also drives the strategy for engagement with the external social research community beyond conducting deep research and data analytics studies, by coordinating the social research agenda and building research expertise to support policymaking and programmes.
• As a research assistant in RA, you will join a team of multidisciplinary researchers and data scientists, and work with academics and partners in the social sector. You will assist researchers in:
• Managing research projects and processes within the company.
• Monitoring local and international social and family research developments.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
• Planning and executing research-related meetings and events.

This is a casual position for twelve (12) months, with no possibility of extension or conversion.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Strong project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Background understanding and/or keen interest in social and family policy.
• Familiarity with social research methods (qualitative and/or quantitative) would be a strong advantage.
• Comfortable with multitasking and working in a fast-paced team environment.
• Familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) would be a plus.

Working Schedule:
• Mon – Fri: 8:30am-6:00pm

• Thomson area.
