1 Year Lab Technician (Up to $3600)

Work Location: Jurong Island [Transport provided to and from Jurong East MRT to Jurong Island]

Salary Range: Up to $3,600 [Inclusive of Day Shift Allowance]

2-2-3 Shift Pattern - 12-hour rotating morning shift from 8am to 8pm (shift work will start from either the 3rd month or 4th month after completing OJT)

Working hours during OJT during the first 2 to 3 months will be during office hours from 8am to 4.45pm, Mondays to Fridays

Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily shipment and non-routine analysis of in-process and finished products in accordance to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and safe work procedures.
2. Perform basic calibration for laboratory equipment to ensure that they are maintained in good working condition.
3. Carry out documentation control for test results and ensure proper documentation of laboratory work and quality control records in accordance to the SOP.
4. Prepare density columns for grade transition for in-process and classification testing.
5. Ensure that good housekeeping is maintained in the Laboratory.
6. Other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or an equivalent discipline with 5 years of relevant experience.
2. Entry level candidates without experience are welcome to apply.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
4. Able to perform rotating 12-hour morning shift work.
