Role:

M&E Technical Manager (Construction)

• Singapore Based (Ang Mo Kio)
• 5 Days work per week (Mon – Fri 8.30am – 6pm)
• $6000 to $9500
• Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services. Good knowledge in M&E works, planning capability and authorities/statutory compliance.
• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in Mechanical & Electrical services. Good knowledge and experience in Design & Build Tender for M&E services is preferred.

Job Scope:

1. Preparation and submission of M&E tenders, including reviewing technical specifications, cost estimates, and project timelines.
2. Taking charge of M&E QS related matters and responsible from tender to pre-contract and post-contract administration duties.
3. Prepare tender clarifications, liaise with consultants, attend site visits, and tender briefings/meetings.
4. Responsible for interpretation of specifications, compliance, review of tender drawings for any discrepancies, and any other relevant documents.
5. Conduct detailed technical evaluations of tender documents to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
6. Identify potential risks and challenges associated with tender submissions and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Plan and execute with the tender team to achieve KPIs.
8. Suggest Value Engineering solutions for MEP works, if required, in the tender.
9. Assist in the presentation slides, technical write-ups for tender submission/interview, and attendance at tender interviews.
10. Involve in project write-ups such as understanding scope of work, manpower histogram, programs, and project schedule using Microsoft Project software.
11. Provide technical expertise and guidance to support the decision-making process during tender evaluations.
12. Evaluating quotations from sub-cons/suppliers according to tender requirements.
