Job Description

As an Office Manager at The Outsiders, you will have a key role in shaping the work environment for everyone in the studio. You will work closely with the Studio Operations Director to ensure the vision of being the best workplace in the world comes to life!

The ability to organize, plan, meet deadlines, and bring top-notch service to your colleagues and external guests is crucial in this role. We are a small team with an indie vibe - with the stability of being a part of a larger organization. We move quickly and take pride in creating unique and innovative gaming experiences and we want this to be noticeable in our studio environment as well.

In your role, you will mostly fly solo to execute in accordance with management plan and vision. It is therefore important that you are attentive and responsive with a “can do”-attitude whilst being structured and organized. This role is built around the important topics of service, planning, executing, and administering where no task is too small or without a purpose.

Responsibilities

1. Cater for the needs of the team, be proactive, and see what’s needed even before it´s needed – lead the day-to-day service delivery to our team!
2. Keep the office tidy, well-stocked, and organized.
3. Be the front face of our office to both colleagues and external guests and deliver exceptional service that brings smiles out of people.
4. Maintain the office and be the point of contact for example landlord, vendors, and delivery companies.
5. Assist Studio Operations Director with various organizational tasks – anything from picking up packages to buying flowers, research for quotations to putting together a ping pong table.
6. Pump energy into the team! Happy team = Awesome game!
7. Support the team with travel and accommodation arrangements.
8. Oversee receipts claims and other administrative areas.
9. Be responsible for purchases of office supplies and snacks from A to Z.
10. Point of contact for vendors, deliveries, facility maintenance, etc.
11. Organize and manage office meetings, larger internal events, and other happenings. We enjoy hanging out over home style breakfasts and having fun to maintain our strong company culture. Any innovative ideas to strengthen that further are always welcome.
12. Own and be responsible for participation or hosting of conferences or other internal/external events. Plan, schedule, and execute!

Minimum Requirements

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role and a lifetime of service skills. Take pleasure in supporting and assisting people around you.
2. An eye for detail and believe that a challenge can be transformed into an opportunity. We believe you to be unpretentious, able to receive and give feedback and a team player that looks at the work with both humility and joy.
3. The ability to prioritize even under stressful situations whilst maintaining clear communication and approach.
4. Great English language skills both verbal and written.
5. We are a small team so we see that you are an all-around type of person who quickly can switch from small to bigger tasks with the same passion and attitude.
6. Have a positive attitude with a can-do mindset where nothing is impossible.

Our Stockholm Studio is a fun mix of The Outsiders and Funcom. We enjoy the benefits of being a small team with the stability and support of a larger organization. Our studio in Stockholm currently has roughly 60 employees (and 7 dogs) – working on everything from Metal: Hellsinger to Dune and beyond.
