Job description

Do you want to make information come alive, so that we and future generations can live a healthier life?

BCB Medical is the leading Nordic company focused on gathering and analyzing clinical information. Our goal is to revolutionize how clinical information affects the everyday life of people. We help healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical companies improve the patient's quality of life. The company headquarter is in Turku, and we also have offices in Espoo, Oulu, Stockholm, and London.

Among our clients are all the biggest university hospitals in Finland, Sweden, and the UK as well as many of the global top 20 pharmaceutical companies. For that reason, security and trust mean everything to us.

Key Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial MedTech/HealthTech organization. The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-driven sales professional with strong communication skills and a hands-on approach to managing the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals, within the Swedish healthcare sector.

In this role, you will collaborate with a highly skilled and experienced team, each with 5-15 years of expertise in delivering efficient solutions to the public healthcare sector. This position is full-time and permanent, based at our Stockholm office. While we work flexibly, allowing for remote work, we hope to see you at the office regularly.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Drive the sales of the company’s product portfolio to regional healthcare organizations across Sweden.
  • Map out sales processes within public organizations, ensuring that interest from end users, such as clinicians, is effectively converted into sales with clinic management, IT departments, and/or procurement departments.
  • Identify and engage potential clients, understand their needs, and guide them through the sales process to build strong relationships and achieve successful outcomes.
  • The primary focus of the role is on proactive business development, actively generating new opportunities, primarily with existing customers, although public tenders may also be part of the role.
  • Lead contract negotiations and successfully close agreements with clients.
  • Set sales forecasts and manage sales budgets to ensure alignment with company goals and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s product portfolio to effectively communicate its capabilities and limitations to clients.

To Succeed In This Role, You Should Have

  • A minimum of 5 years of proven sales experience in the public sector, specifically with Swedish regional healthcare procurement units.
  • Experience in value-based solution selling to healthcare, either in software or medical devices.
  • A proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused approach, consistently identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, while actively listening to clients' needs, setting priorities, and efficiently managing multiple projects, clients, and deadlines.
  • Strong sales forecasting and budget management skills, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Skilled in contract negotiations, including reviewing and finalizing agreements while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Well-connected, with an established network within Swedish regional healthcare and procurement units.
  • Fluent in both Swedish and English, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with medical devices, Electronic Medical Records (EMRs), or similar systems is a plus.
