Compensation and Benefit /Total Reward Specialist – Consulting Assignment (Remote/Hybrid)

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented compensation and benefit specialist for a six-month consulting assignment, with the potential for extension. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to work remotely, with the option to work from the client’s offices for instance in Stockholm. The assignment's scope is 75-100% depending on your availability.

About the Role

In this position, you will be an integral part of the People & Transformation team, ensuring that compensation and benefits structures are both fair and competitive. Your expertise will contribute to strengthening the client’s ability to attract and retain top talent on an international scale.

The role covers all aspects of Total Rewards/C&B, with a strong global focus. You will play a key role in refining policies and processes related to compensation and benefits, as well as managing various high-level ad-hoc tasks. Collaborating with stakeholders across the organization, you will ensure that the company's reward strategies are aligned with business goals and market benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct compensation and benefits benchmarking to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Oversee bonus and total calculations to support reward planning.
  • Manage and optimize LTIP programs.
  • Develop and refine Remco (Remuneration Committee) materials.
  • Take part in salary review processes and contribute to salary policy development.
  • Provide guidance on CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive) compliance.
  • Handle currency conversions and related financial adjustments.
  • Support the development and refinement of job architecture frameworks.
  • Work proactively on gender pay equality initiatives.
  • Enhance and update compensation and benefits programs and policies.

Who You Are

We are seeking someone who is not only highly meticulous and analytical but also able to navigate complex Total Reward challenges independently. The right candidate should be confident in making strategic compensation decisions while ensuring alignment with both business and market needs.

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of seven years' experience as a C&B Specialist or Total Reward Specialist.
  • Strong expertise in handling ad-hoc assignments across all areas of Total Rewards.
  • A background in international or global C&B/Total Reward structures.
  • Previous involvement in LTIP program development and execution.
  • A technology-driven mindset, with a strong grasp of HR systems and processes.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday or similar HR systems (advantageous but not required).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong proficiency in bonus calculations and currency conversions.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to create insightful presentations.
  • A structured and communicative approach, ensuring clarity and precision in all tasks.
