Job Responsibilities & Tasks
- Validate the availability of all required documents (JFT, PCC, Drawings, etc.) prior to new job start-up to minimize downtime and ensure production consistency.
- Operate machines as per Work Instructions to ensure safe and stable run-ability.
- Troubleshoot problems and request support when needed to reduce downtime and improve efficiency.
- Check and sign winding samples, then relay them to the section Team Leader for approval before forwarding them to QC to ensure quality at start-up.
- Regularly inspect product quality and provide samples to QC for continuous inspection to maintain a quality run.
- Report any quality defects to QC and the Team Leader for necessary corrective actions.
- Fill out a Repair Request and relay it to the Team Leader for approval; forward to Maintenance for action and validate the repair results after completion.
- Assign tasks to Helpers and Skilled Helpers to ensure an organized workflow and maintain 5S conditions around the machines and workspace.
- Check and sign product and pallet labels to ensure correct packing procedures are followed.
- Complete the Production Report, document all production activities, enter related data into the ERP system, and submit the report to the Team Leader at the end of each shift.
- Prepare Process Control Cards for new orders and submit them to the Team Leader/Production Engineers for approval to ensure production consistency.
- Label left-over materials and mixed formulations before dispatching them to the Warehouse or material feeding/mixing zones.
- Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are implemented on assigned machines and report any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Supervisor.
Food Safety Responsibilities
- Maintain plant cleanliness at an acceptable standard at all times.
- Ensure all team members comply with the hygiene policy and food safety requirements.
- Report any unsafe acts or incidents related to food safety to the Team Leader.
Safety Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all health and safety procedures related to assigned functions.
- Comply with NAPCO-IFP safety standards and Saudi labor laws and regulations.
- Participate in OH&S activities and attend required safety meetings.
- Attend all company-offered training programs.
- Report any incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, or acts to the direct supervisor or to the camp boss (if related to accommodation).
- Take immediate corrective action if safe to do so, and refuse to work in unsafe conditions.
- Ensure all safety precautions are in place before beginning any work.
- Use all provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Inspect tools, equipment, and vehicles before use.
- Be familiar with the emergency response plan and the locations of first aid kits and firefighting equipment.
