Job Description
The Medical Data Analyst will be responsible for data extraction, analysis, and visualization to enhance operational efficiency and optimize medical care services. The role involves gathering, interpreting, and presenting healthcare data to drive evidence-based decision-making and process improvements.
Data Extraction and Integration
- Collect, extract, and integrate healthcare data from various internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage automated data collection processes for real-time analysis.
- Data extraction, analysis, and reporting for all activities of clinical operations and medical and healthcare services.
Data Analysis and Insights Generation
- Conduct statistical analysis and predictive modeling to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop actionable insights to support clinical and operational decisions.
- Analysis and reporting of clinics and digital clinics operations data and provide analysis on areas of improvement.
Dashboard Development and Reporting
- Design and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Generate customized reports for different stakeholders, including senior management, clinicians, and financial teams.
Data Governance and Compliance
- Ensure all data handling aligns with healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Work with IT and compliance teams to enforce data security protocols.
Process Automation and Improvement
- Identify areas for automation within data reporting and processing workflows.
- Develop data-driven solutions to streamline medical operations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner and work closely with clinical, IT, and operational teams to align data insights with business needs.
- Conduct training sessions to improve data literacy among medical staff.
Skills
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Health Informatics, or a related field.
- Expertise in Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
- Experience in using analytical tools such as SQL, Python, or similar.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other healthcare data management platforms.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is required.
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards related to data privacy and security.
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
