Job Description: Business Analyst II (Level 5) Global Finance Solutions (GFS) is seeking a Business Analyst II (Level 5) to support the development and implementation of Business Intelligence and analytics across Finance functions. GFS is a global finance organization responsible for managing accounting, reporting, and analytical services for Amazon’s worldwide finance teams. The GFS Planning, Processes, and Tools (PPT) organization builds and scales financial planning systems and processes and is a key contributor to planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities. The team leverages data analytics and visualization to drive standardization and automation, and develops scalable, plug-and-play solutions for Supply Chain and Operations teams within the JP SSD Line of Business.
As a Business Analyst II, you will be responsible for deriving deep, actionable insights across multiple business functions and driving continuous improvement through data. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of business requirements, the ability to quickly identify root causes of complex business problems, and the capability to design data-driven solutions. You will work closely with program managers, BI engineers, and business stakeholders to analyze large datasets, define performance metrics, identify automation opportunities, and continuously enhance existing processes.
