The Head of AI Center of Excellence (CoE) will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and execution of Generative AI and AI-driven decision-making systems across Dallah Albaraka’s business lines. This leader will leverage cutting-edge AI technologies, such as large language models (LLMs), retrieval augmented generation (RAG) and predictive analytics to transform business operations, enhance strategic decisions, and create innovative customer-facing applications. The Head of AI will work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across various sectors to implement AI-driven solutions that optimize business outcomes.

As the head of the CoE, the Head of AI will guide AI research and development, manage AI project execution, and ensure that AI capabilities are integrated into the organization’s decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities:

AI Strategy and Vision:

• Work closely with the executive team and key stakeholders to ensure AI strategies are aligned with business goals and drive long-term value.
• Develop and execute the AI strategy focused on Generative AI and AI for Decision-Making that aligns with Dallah Albaraka’s business objectives across all sectors
• Define the strategic roadmap for AI adoption, ensuring the use of AI-driven automation and advanced decision-making systems across the organization.
• Stay abreast of the latest AI trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure the CoE remains at the forefront of AI innovation.

AI Leadership and Team Management:

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the CoE.
• Develop AI talent through mentorship and coaching, ensuring a pipeline of skilled professionals across various business sectors.
• Collaborate with business leaders to design AI tools that enhance decision-making processes across business sectors.
• Engage with external partners, technology providers, and industry experts to stay ahead of trends in Generative AI and AI for decision-making.

Change Management and Value Realization :

• Sponsor the projects, Champion the Change management complete lifecycle from ideation and development to deployment and continuous improvement, ensuring AI initiatives deliver value to the business.
• Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and success of AI initiatives.

Governance, Ethics, and Compliance:

• Ensure AI solutions adhere to applicable regulatory data privacy, security, and ethical standards.
• Promote responsible AI practices, ensuring AI models are explainable, auditable, and aligned with Dallah Albaraka’s ethical values.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Specialized training or certifications in Generative AI, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Decision Support Systems is highly preferred.

Experience:

• At least 10 years of experience in Artificial Intelligence, with a proven track record of implementing Generative AI and AI-driven decision support systems in large-scale projects.
• 5+ years of leadership experience, managing AI teams and driving cross-functional AI initiatives in diverse business environments.
• Demonstrated experience in deploying AI for decision-making, including developing predictive models, optimization systems, and decision automation platforms.
• Experience in industries relevant to Dallah Albaraka is strongly preferred.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex AI concepts and solutions to senior business stakeholders.
• Deep technical knowledge of AI tools and platforms, including cloud technologies, data analytics platforms, and machine learning frameworks.
• Extensive expertise in Generative AI technologies, including large language models (LLMs), text generation, image generation, and AI-driven content creation.
• Proficiency in AI for decision-making, including predictive analytics, machine learning, and data-driven decision support systems.
• Strong leadership, team-building, and mentoring skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
