Workshop Technician

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Work in Safe Manner and Follow Safety Policies - (Mandatory)
2. Follow Duty of Care
3. Use Stop Work Authority
4. Ensure safe working practices in the workshop.
5. Control of local workshop personnel competency
6. Go through working plans with the Team Leader / Workshop Supervisor
7. Maintain workshop inventories.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/FORMAL EDUCATION:

1. High school diploma or equivalent technical diploma
2. Clear understanding of general mathematics and application for the relevant scope of work in his duties
3. Ability to write and communicate in English and demonstrate understanding of procedures and standards.
4. Ability to interpret technical assembly drawings and schematics
5. Ability to use personal computer with standard software.
6. Ability to operate high- and low-pressure pumps, hydrostatic pumps, high torque wrenches, overhead cranes, jib cranes, forklifts, and rigging
