Role profile:

The main focus of this role is the responsibility for receipt, handling and storage of raw materials, packing materials, semi-finished and finished goods. You ensure the warehouse activities adhere to stringent health and safety protocols and GMP processes.

Role requirements:

• Receive, store and handle raw materials, packing materials, semi-finished and finished goods, verify and maintain correct documentation.
• Adhere to production schedule, flagging any issues with timing, resource, materials and SOPs.
• Complete all required documentation in line with GMP, quality metrics and safety protocols.
• Daily weighing balance verification, temperature monitoring and identifying any workplace hazards. Responsible for movement of stacker within the warehouse without supervision.
• Recording received goods (raw material, packing material, finished and semi-finished goods) both electronically and by paper filing systems.
• Initiate and follow up any deviations, CAPA’s and change controls.
• Ensuring the warehouse is clean, tidy and all materials are stored correctly and accessible.

Your background:

• Diploma level or equivalent in business, management, logistics, pharmacy or a related discipline.
• 3 years of solid experience from within the pharmaceutical industry (or other highly regulated sector) in a warehouse, quality or safety related role.
• High proficiency in MS Office as well as warehouse management software.
• Well-versed in cGMP protocols
• Able to operate a forklift and heavy machinery.
• Able to work safely and efficiently with relative strength and stamina in order to move and lift equipment and materials throughout the warehouse facility on a daily basis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• A knowledge of chemistry, microbiology, raw materials and production processes would be an advantage.
