Warehouse keeper

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Keeper to manage our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing inventory management, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock counts, and manage inventory discrepancies.
2. Receiving Goods: Oversee the receipt of incoming shipments, ensuring that all items are inspected for quality and quantity.
3. Storage: Organize and store products in designated warehouse areas, ensuring optimal space utilization and accessibility.
4. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, receipts, and dispatches, and ensure proper documentation is completed.
7. Equipment Management: Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, while adhering to safety protocols.
8. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
2. Proven experience as a warehouse keeper or in a similar role.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems.
5. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
6. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
