Job Description

Scope

This role will be responsible for all the cargo and shipments inside PSA BDP warehouses and others, as well as handling transportation for various types of clients domestically and overland, while ensuring compliance with security measures according to applicable legislations. The role will report to the product manager, with a dotted line to the Country Director.

Responsibilities

Warehouse:

• Responsible for warehouse operations from a 3PL perspective; candidate must have experience in the following:
• Extensive knowledge of various warehousing operations, SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Experience with warehouse documentation and handling.
• Experience in handling different types of cargo (General, DG, FMCG, Pharma, etc.).
• Billing and charges verification for monthly warehouse activities.
• Communicating with clients and service providers to ensure all requests are completed on time and as per agreed SOPs and KPIs.
• Meeting with vendors, clients, and internal teams.
• Supporting the regional team locally with new opportunities and requirements.

Transportation:

• Responsible for transportation operations from a 3PL perspective; candidate must have experience in the following:
• Truck booking as per requirements and follow-ups – Frozen, chilled & Reefer.
• Daily updates and follow-ups to ensure jobs are done perfectly, with POD and DN signed and stamped.
• Billing and charges verification from vendors and to clients.
• Communicating with clients and service providers to ensure all requests are completed on time and as per agreed SOPs and KPIs.

QHSE and Compliance:

• Building the team with knowledge on compliance, safety, and environment.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the logistics industry, with a commitment to staying updated with changes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications / Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a warehouse and transport executive.
• Proficiency in WMS, SAP (EMW+MM), and end-to-end 3PL operations.
• Knowledge of dangerous goods and freight forwarding documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office and warehouse management software.
