Vice President Supply Chain - Riyadh Region - First Resort Global Recruitment

JOB OVERVIEW
With solid experience in supply chain and related competencies, the candidate will manage the supply chain function and ensure cost-effective services are provided to all Business Units. The role involves driving continued improvement in the function by leveraging the quality of plans, supporting the business strategy, and leading inventory management to meet agreed target levels while ensuring optimal inventory is in place. The candidate should be able to define, develop, and implement regional supply chain strategy, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, distribution, and strategic sourcing, with an ongoing effort to lead and develop a team of competent professionals in the department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead the development and implementation of an effective supply chain and sourcing strategy at the Group level (Holding Company and SBUs) in line with the Group business strategy and objectives, considering the specific operational needs of various SBUs.
2. Develop and establish supply chain and procurement processes and systems with an emphasis on service and quality improvement in close coordination with SBUs, including liaising with the ICT Department to ensure the implementation of relevant supporting information systems across the Group.
3. Ensure quality checks are performed across the Group (SBUs and Holdco) against set supply chain quality standards, established policies and procedures, and local legislative regulations.
4. Oversee and support the SBUs in demand planning and the recommendation of order quantities using tools and methods such as regression analysis.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Materials Management, Logistics and Distribution, or equivalent.
2. At least 10 – 15 years of experience in Supply Chain or Operations field.
3. At least 5 years in a similar role in a similar industry, preferably in a Group setting.
4. Open to all nationalities.
