Job Title: Vice President of Manufacturing Operations

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO) or President

Job Summary:

The Vice President of Manufacturing Operations will oversee the overall strategy, direction, and management of the company's manufacturing operations. This includes leading the development and implementation of manufacturing processes, managing production planning, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Lead and manage the manufacturing team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage budgets for manufacturing operations.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with manufacturing operations.
• Develop and implement business continuity plans to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and operations management.
• Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or related field is desirable.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 7 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of success in leading manufacturing operations and driving business growth; experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodology.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
