Vice President of Finance

Our client is a rapidly growing Saudi startup on a mission to empower customers through a powerful ecosystem of tech tools. As they scale operations, they're seeking a commercially-minded VP of Finance to bring financial clarity, leadership, and control to the business.

About the Role:

Ultimate Peak is leading the search for a strategic yet hands-on VP of Finance who will serve as a core member of the executive team. The ideal candidate will balance operational rigor with startup agility — someone who thrives on building, leading, and enabling strong financial foundations in high-growth environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, treasury, reporting, and compliance
2. Ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
3. Own cash flow management and planning, helping extend runway and ensure financial discipline
4. Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and board, advising on financial decisions and growth strategy
5. Support fundraising initiatives, investor reporting, and due diligence processes
6. Build robust internal controls, systems, and finance operations to scale with growth
7. Mentor and develop a lean, high-performing finance team

Requirements:

1. 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in startups or tech-driven businesses
2. In-depth understanding and application of IFRS standards in a Saudi or regional business context
3. Strong grasp of cash flow management, financial modeling, and scenario planning
4. Experience with audits, fundraising support, and board-level communication
5. Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent); MBA is a plus
6. Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is a bonus
7. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
