Job description
Our client is a US merchant bank comprised of private markets asset management, business consulting services, and technology development and solutions. This individual will be a regional member of a dynamic IR/CF team of privately equity and private credit fund managers in a fast-paced work environment. The candidate will play an integral role in leading the investor relations function in their newly established entity in Saudi Arabia, reporting to the regional CEO and Founder, and working in collaboration with the rest of the Investor Relations/Capital Formation team.
Responsibilities:
Partner with the regional CEO and Founder to build on the continued growth of the IR function in the region.
Work within the existing IR function as well as Finance, Legal and Investment teams to ensure all LP fund reporting, audit processes, quarterly LP communications, valuation process and investment materials are managed and aligned with the company's overall strategy.
Manage investor outreach, group presentations, client meetings/events, and roadshows using data and proprietary technology, specifically Olympus Fintech platform.
Strengthen relationships and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to attract capital from institutional investors, family offices, ultra-high net worth individuals, and sovereign wealth funds.
Assist/oversee the preparation of detailed LP profiles using proprietary and public sources.
Requirements:
Minimum 6-7 years of recent, relevant experience in an Investor Relations function or previously at a placement agent.
Experience leading projects and project management within IR from a buy-side firm would be highly additive.
Knowledge of LP base within private equity and ideally private credit.
Understanding of private equity and private credit asset classes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, as well as Bloomberg and CapitalIQ.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field from a highly regarded college or university is compulsory.
