Vice President Investment Banking

Our client, a dynamic asset management & advisory firm, is looking to establish a brand new investment banking division. Focused on expanding our services within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, they aim to offer clients best-in-class expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Private Placements, and Initial Public Offerings (IPO).

About the Role:

As the Vice President of Investment Banking, your primary focus will be on the execution of investment banking transactions, ensuring seamless and efficient delivery of high-quality outcomes for their clients.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of complex investment banking transactions, including M&A, ECM, DCM, private placements, and IPOs.
• Manage end-to-end deal processes, from initial due diligence through to regulatory approvals and closing.
• Oversee financial modeling, valuation analysis, and transaction documentation.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all transactions meet client objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with clients to understand their strategic goals and provide tailored solutions.
• Maintain strong, trusted relationships with corporate clients, ensuring excellent client service during execution.
• Support senior leadership in deepening client relationships and expanding service offerings.
• Manage and mentor a team of junior investment bankers, ensuring high standards of professionalism and execution.
• Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment, while aligning with the firm's overall strategy and values.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• A minimum of 8+ years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on deal execution across M&A, ECM, DCM, private placements, and IPOs.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market, with experience navigating local regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in managing complex transactions from start to finish.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior talent.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior clients and stakeholders.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).
