Job description

Job Summary:
The Vendor Management Administrator is responsible for managing relationships with vendors, overseeing contracts, and ensuring the delivery of services.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain relationships with vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
  2. Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or discrepancies in service delivery.
  3. Coordinate vendor activities and ensure compliance with contract terms and service level agreements.
  4. Process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner.
  5. Evaluate vendor performance against key performance indicators and recommend improvements.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess vendor needs and identify opportunities for optimization.
  7. Develop and implement vendor management strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Candidate Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in vendor management or procurement.
  3. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.

Skills:

  1. Proficiency in SAP Ariba system.
  2. Proficiency in S4HANA system.
  3. Strong vendor management skills.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  6. Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  7. Problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflicts.
  8. Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
  9. Proficient in vendor contract management.
  10. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SAP Ariba, S4HANA, Oracle, or other ERP systems related to vendor management.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards).
  • Knowledge of vendor contracts, compliance, and risk assessment.
  • Experience in managing vendor performance evaluations and scorecards.
