Job Title: Vascular Surgery Consultant

JOB SUMMARY

A vascular surgery consultant at a prestigious hospital in Saudi Arabia. Your role would involve providing expert care to patients with vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease, aneurysms, and vascular trauma. You would lead the surgical and endovascular procedures, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional vascular care. Additionally, you would play a key role in advancing research, education, and quality improvement initiatives within vascular surgery.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide high-quality vascular surgery care to patients in this area of medicine.
2. Provide consultative service as requested.
3. Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
4. Actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in your area of expertise and participate in research activities.
5. Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
6. Perform special procedures as privileged.
7. Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

1. Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
2. Completion of the required period of training in vascular surgery.
3. Saudi Arabian or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
4. Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent, fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
5. A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
6. Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

1. Minimum 3-4 years post-board/fellowship in vascular surgery.
2. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.

Language

1. Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
