The Van Sales Executive is responsible for driving sales growth by delivering products directly to customers, managing customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a customer-focused professional with strong negotiation skills and the ability to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. The Van Sales Executive will work closely with the sales and operations teams to maximize sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage sales of the specific channel in line with overall company strategy and department objectives.
Prioritize daily sales activities to achieve set business targets and goals.
Take orders from customers on a regular basis and coordinate with tele sales to process orders in the system.
Use available systems and tools to improve efficiency of van sales by finding, responding, and following up on sales leads.
Be in charge of van loading, delivery of products, collecting cash, returning product returns, invoicing, and daily reconciling.
Responsible for ethical cash handling until documented remittance with accounts receivables team.
Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers to ensure customer needs are identified and met with required product portfolio.
Ensure company assets including vehicle, products, etc. are handled responsibly.
Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to care of equipment.
Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and understand competitor activities.
Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to improve sales techniques and product knowledge.
Monitor and report on market and competitor activities to provide relevant reports and information to the management.
Requirements for the role
Proven experience as a Van Sales Executive or similar role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
Valid Saudi driver's license and clean driving record.
Strong negotiation and sales skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Basic math skills for handling cash and providing accurate change.
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
Knowledge of the local area and its customer base is preferable.
Fluency in Arabic is essential; proficiency in English is an advantage.
